How to come to Fontainebleau
See citymapper (available in English) or vianavigo (only in French)
- From Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport:
- Take the shuttle for "Gare RER CdG1" from Terminal 1; go to the "Gare RER CdG2" by walking from Terminal 2.
- In "Gare RER", ask for a ticket for Fontainebleau-Avon.
- From CDG1 or CDG2 railway station, take the "RER B" train (dir. Gare de St-Rémy les Chevreuse)
until the station "Chatelet les Halles" (around 30 minutes).
- In "Chatelet les Halles" station, take (with the same ticket) the "RER A" train (dir. Gare de Boissy
St-Léger) until the station "Gare de Lyon".
- In station "Gare de Lyon", take (with the same ticket) a train to "Gare de Fontainebleau-Avon".
- Estimated total time: 2 hours.
- From Orly Airport:
- In the airport, follow "Orlyval" and ask a ticket for Fontainebleau-Avon
- Take "Orlyval" metro until station "Antony".
- There, with the same ticket, take the "RER B" train (dir. "Aéroport CDG2 - TGV") until station "Chatelet-les-Halles".
- In "Chatelet les Halles" station, take (with the same ticket) the "RER A" train (dir. Gare de Boissy
St-Léger) until the station "Gare de Lyon".
- In station "Gare de Lyon", take (with the same ticket) a train to "Gare de Fontainebleau-Avon".
